For Red Ribbon Week 2018, Partnership Douglas County had two contests for Douglas County School District students to participate in.  The first competition was for high school and middle school students to write an essay focused on what it meant for them to be drug-free.  The second competition was for elementary school students to participate in a door-decorating contest in their classrooms.

Each student and classroom had one week to submit their essays and decorate their doors.  After careful consideration the winning doors and essay were chosen.  For each winning door local pizza restaurants in town donated pizza for the classrooms.  The winning essays received yogurt beach and pizza gift certificates.

We would like to thank all the participating  businesses in town who donated prizes.

Thank you!
