Course Information

Both the 5k & 10k start and end in Lampe park.
They are as follows: 

10k starts at the Douglas Co. Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane
     Heads south through East trail of Lampe park
     Out to Hwy 395 for a loop around Douglas Ave and then West trail of Lampe park
     Back to 395 and head north for a 4-mile out-back on the parade route through Minden and Gardnerville. 

5k is an out-back starting at the intersection of Highway 395/Waterloo Lane near the South end of Lampe Park.
     Heads north to approximately County Road (1.5 mi)
     Turn around and run south to Lampe Park finish 

Both races end at the creek on the south-east corner of Lampe park.  5k is 100% paved, 10k is 60% paved.  

We encourage 10k-ers to park at the Senior Center, and 5k-ers to park in the AM/PM parking across the street from Walgreens.  If you are not local, please be advised that the highway is closed at 7am in preparation for the race & parade, but if you follow the Buckeye alternate route that will bring you out to the intersection where the 5k starts.
